Keansburg Board of Education District Policy #9162, which is designed to support student-athletes in improving their academic performance.
The process involves the use of a weekly progress report, which students will bring to teachers for completion. The key expectation outlined in the policy is that students must show weekly academic improvement in order to remain eligible.
Below is the section of the policy that is shared with parents/guardians for your reference:
If adequate progress is not being achieved by your son/daughter, he/she will be suspended for the week until the subsequent progress report is submitted and reassessed. If your son/daughter is unwilling to make adequate academic progress, he/she is subject to be removed from the program.
